Each weekly session involves

🌟Live strength and conditioning session of a pre-recorded, screenshared workout to enable optimal form feedback from coaches 🌟Workouts include warm-up, circuits/dumbbells, core/plyometrics, stretch, body maintenance/relaxation. 🌟Mentoring involves completing a survey on the week's topic, results are collated for the group and then the key areas discussed.

Each lesson includes

🌟20min video of that week's performance/well-being topic 🌟Short quiz to highlight key messages 🌟Links to extra resources and presentation slides 💡Plus access to a Journ-All where you can chart your personal journey, strengths, weaknesses, lessons learned, goals and pledges.

Work 1:1 with Becky on a monthly basis to help you to navigate your journey as an athlete. 

Develop a personalised action plan reviewed, embedded and supported by an athletics-specific AI search engine to ensure the best advice. 

Session summaries are stored on an interactive platform with key takeaways, action points and additional resources, that is shared with coaches and parents. 

Parents and coaches are also welcome to attend the 1:1 or indeed use one of the sessions personally.

Chief Gracemaker Becky Lyne

From the highs of being voted Britain’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2006, to the lows of missing out on the London 2012 home Olympics, (plus all the ups and downs in between!), I have amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience that I now share with young ambitious athletes, as well as my local running communities, to inspire runners at every level to achieve their full potential through my GRACEfull Method. FAQ's

  • I already train on a Sunday. Will it be too much to do this session too?

    The last thing we want is for athletes to do too much! But this needn't be the case. In fact, increasingly athletes are using 'polarised' training approaches where they do 2 harder sessions on one day (with 4-8 hours recovery), allowing for more recovery between hard days. Also, we always offer a harder and easier (also suitable of you're injured) exercise options to suit your energy levels/schedule.

  • Do I have to be an elite athlete?

    What is elite?! But no. A key premise that we teach on the course is that it’s not just about the stopwatch. We value each participant with their own unique merits, creating a space in which they can flourish in their own way. The only requirement is that you are open to learning, sharing and working on your personal development.

  • Will this work in my country?

    We welcome participants from around the world! As the course is based online, if you are in a similar time zone to GMT, hopefully the Sunday 5pm evening sessions will tie in with your schedule.

  • Are live sessions only 5pm GMT on Sundays?

    Currently yes. But we hope to add more options in the future. The 1:1 sessions have much more flexibility.

  • How much time do I need to dedicate to the programme?

    Likely less than going to one of your regular training sessions. We understand that athletes already juggle so many demands on their time with training, schoolwork and trying to lead some sort of social life! The beauty of this course being online is that you save time traveling to training locations, and if at times you’re particularly busy with exams etc, then the recorded option of sessions allows you to fit it in around other priorities. Indeed, we nurture a sense of discipline on the course that gives you the strength to create priorities that serve you best. The weekly online S&C/mentoring sessions take approx 75min. But to truly engage with and embed the content with all the extra recommended resources, the only limit is what you place on it...

  • Is the course just for 12-18-year-old, aspiring athletes?

    Whilst the content of the course is pitched with this demographic very much in mind, the concepts that we teach are universal. Parents and coaches are very much encouraged to engage with the course. Indeed, purchasing a single programme permits access for the athlete’s entire family and coaching team.
